About Winston County Court Docket

Winston County court records do not sit in one countywide database. A useful search starts by matching the matter to the office that keeps it, then using that office’s official access route. This private reference organizes those routes for Winston County, Mississippi, including state trial courts, local courts, and the distinct federal system.

Why This Reference Exists

Winston County records require court-by-court routing. The Circuit Clerk keeps the Circuit Court’s civil and criminal docket books and case materials. The Chancery Clerk maintains Chancery Court files, including its separate Youth Court role, while the Justice Court clerk handles local civil, criminal, and citation matters. Louisville Municipal Court has a city docket for ordinances, city traffic cases, and municipal misdemeanors. A federal matter is outside those county routes and belongs with PACER for the Northern District of Mississippi, Aberdeen Division.

Mississippi Electronic Courts, or MEC, is the electronic system used for eligible Circuit and Chancery matters. Public Access to Mississippi Electronic Courts, known as PAMEC, is its public registration route. Those systems do not make every Justice Court or municipal matter a MEC search. Winston also has no County Court listed in the 2026 state directory, so a request described only as a “county court” record needs closer routing.

Search Service Relationships

Some pages include a search tool supplied by an outside provider. That provider controls its service, results, prices, and privacy practices. If a provider offers a paid service and a visitor uses it, Winston County Court Docket may receive a referral payment. That arrangement does not make a provider’s output an official court record, and it does not give this site control over the provider’s data or charges.
